Breaking Bad
Just let me tell you the pretense: An aging chemistry teacher is diagnosed with cancer and decides to cook meth with a former student to help with medical costs and a baby on the way. Like, do you really need to hear more than that? At any rate, I’ve watched about two seasons in two days and I’m pretty proud of myself, considering I’m usually a non-marathoner (more on that later). The characters are engaging, the cinematography is masterful, and I really really really like Aaron Paul. Episode nine starts tonight!
Homesick by A Day to Remember

Sick cover art - I could do a whole post on the awesome tattoos I've seen based off of this.[/caption]
I bought this CD a while ago when it was on sale at Newbury comics but now I’ve been listening more in depth (mostly because of the constant T rides and lonely afternoons in the off-campus student lounge). A Day to Remember always seems to walk the perfect line of screaming, breakdowns, and pop elements, and this is my favorite (from what I’ve listened to on Spotify). Now, I just have to save up for the next few items…
Salted Caramel Frappuccino
I had a good five minutes of mourning in the line for Starbucks this week, since they took my beloved Mocha Cookie Crumble Frap off the menu. Such is fall. But, they replaced it with any number of salted caramel things. I love me a good salted caramel hot chocolate but I had never thought to have it cold in a frappucino, so I went for it. And yep, it’s just as good if not better (though it might be better because MILKSHAKE). And yes, I know I’m basically throwing my money down a corporate drain, but to me there’s hardly anything better than standing kitty-corner to campus, clutching a green-logo-emblazoned drink in my hands and preparing myself for a long day of class.
Pinterest
My friend Lindsay has always been a Pinterest-er. Me, not so much. I didn’t really get the “point” – and that, ladies and gentlemen, was because I was too stupid to realize that double clicking on the picture brought you to another link. How I ever got into college is a mystery. But now, I’m a bit of an addict, with six boards and more pins than I know what do to with…follow if you like.
Glamour Kills Fall Line
It’s quite plainly pointless to order anything online currently, since I won’t get it until my return in December. However, that doesn’t stop my from drooling (almost literally) over this year’s GK line. I have always loved Glamour Kills (though not their prices) and this summer I finally got my hands on a couple shirts and I never want to take them off. However, for this fall I’m loving their cardigans and dresses which look positively gorgeous. Who knows what you might see in a fashion post a few months down the line…

I love cute, simple dresses - but this one has an edge to it![/caption]
