Currently...

Made popular by Danielle, a lot of bloggers (ex: here and here.) have been doing these quick little "currently" posts. Since I am all of a sudden leaving for Berlin and then embarking on a weeklong trip to London (screams?!) I've been trying to rack up posts so as to keep you kids somehow updated. So we'll see how this goes.

Watching: If there's one thing this castle has taught me, it's that I can somehow live without TV. Still plugging through Breaking Bad (ALMOST TO SEASON FOUR. ALMOST.) even if it's only ten or fifteen minutes at a time. Occasionally Say Yes to the Dress if it's a particularly rough night. Who ever says they miss boring trash TV?

Listening to: Anything on the Warped Tour UK docket, especially Bring Me the Horizon and new-er Bowling for Soup. Also, Punk Goes Pop 5, which I'm debating about buying. And, of course, David Sedaris.

Thinking about: Everything I need to have ready for both Berlin and London, mostly the latter. It's already difficult to coordinate weekends, let alone a week, let alone a week right after a very packed weekend. Fall break: blessing and a curse.

Loving: Our to-do list in London (Harry Potter experience, Globe Theatre, London Zoo, Natural History Museum, Warped Tour...). Even though I'm already tired and know that I'll only get more tired, it's so cool to have an entire five days in a city. Especially a city I expect to be one of my all-time favorites.

Reading: Another Bullshit Night in Suck City by Nick Flynn, purchased from the lovely Shakespeare and Company in Paris. I'm working up to giving it it's own post when I have the chance, but for now I'll just say that I'm already a hundred pages in and completely obsessed. I needed some excellent nonfiction in my life.

Making me happy: A mix of everything. Seeing fall at the castle. Fresh croissants at the grocery store. Finishing any kind of homework, ever. Quick conversations over glasses of wine at Sophie's. A lot of anticipation for: midterms being over, travel week, last few cities to explore, parents/sibling coming to visit, and just, slightly, in the back of my mind: knowing I'll be home for Christmas.
